Terms of service
Last updated: 10 June 2026
These terms apply when you enquire with, book, buy from, or work with Tóg (togs.ie). We've written them in plain English. They don't take away any rights you have under Irish consumer law.
1. Who we are
Tóg (togs.ie) is a digital studio based in Galway, Ireland. We design and build websites, online stores, apps, AI agents and the systems that run a modern business. You can reach us any time at shannytrades@gmail.com.
2. Our services
The specific scope, deliverables, timeline and price for any project are agreed between us in writing before work begins — by proposal, statement of work, or a clearly described package. The descriptions on this site are an honest overview, not a binding quote; what we agree with you in writing takes precedence.
3. Bookings & consultations
You can book a call or session through the site. Discovery calls are free. Where a booking type has a price, your slot is confirmed once payment is completed. We'll send a confirmation and calendar invite. If you need to reschedule or cancel, let us know as early as you can and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
4. Payments, deposits & refunds
- Processor. Payments are handled securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Deposits. Some packages are started with a deposit. Unless stated otherwise, deposits are credited in full against the final price of the project.
- Memberships. Recurring plans renew automatically each period until cancelled. You can cancel before the next renewal to avoid further charges; cancellation stops future payments and does not refund the current period unless we've agreed otherwise.
- Refunds. If something isn't right, tell us — we'll work to put it right. Your statutory rights under the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022 are unaffected by anything in these terms.
5. What you own
We believe you should own your business. On full payment for a project, the final deliverables we create specifically for you — your website, store, designs, content and configurations — are yours. We retain ownership of our own pre-existing tools, libraries and general know-how, and we grant you the licence you need to keep using your build. Any third-party components remain subject to their own licences.
6. Your part
To do our best work we'll need timely access to the content, accounts and feedback we agree on. You confirm that anything you give us to use — text, images, logos, data — is yours to share and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. You're responsible for keeping your own account credentials secure.
7. Acceptable use
Please don't use this site or our services to break the law, infringe others' rights, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our systems, or send us anything malicious. We may suspend access where this is breached.
8. Liability
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue or data. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your non-excludable consumer rights. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the country you live in.
